Vocal Coach
With over two decades of experience in vocal pedagogy and performance, I specialize in vocal techniques in Musical Theatre & Opera, with a focus on Trans, Non-Binary, and Queer voices. My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering individual growth, confidence, and authenticity, aiming to guide students—particularly those from marginalized communities—toward technical mastery and artistic expression.
I am currently pursuing an MA in Vocal Pedagogy with a specialisation in Trans Voices at the University of Wales – Trinity St David, focusing on belt production in Trans Adult Musical Theatre voices. This research is about empowering voices to tell their unique stories with authenticity and emotional depth.
At the University of Chichester Conservatoire, I serve as Programme Leader of the MA in Musical Theatre, Associate Lecturer in Musical Theatre, Vocal Tutor, and Associate Lecturer in Acting for Film.
My singing studio in Central London has been a nurturing ground for talent, where I have had the privilege of coaching numerous students who have gone on to perform in major West End productions such as Urinetown, Phantom of the Opera, Shrek, Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Kinky Boots, Les Misérables, Wind in the Willows, Joseph, and City of Angels. I continue to nurture and support my students, helping them refine their vocal abilities and storytelling skills to excel in their careers.
In 2013, I founded "Pride's Got Talent" for Pride in London, a competition that ran annually until 2023, providing a platform for emerging LGBTQ+ performers and offering them the opportunity to perform on a prestigious West End stage.
